Kalyan Banerjee

Kalyan Banerjee is chair of United Phosphorus, Bangladesh, and a director at both United Phosphorus Ltd. and Uniphos Agro Industries Ltd. He has been a member of the American Chemical Society and the Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers. He also has been chair of the Gujarat Chapter of Confederation of Indian Industries.

Banerjee joined Rotary in 1972 and has served RI as president, director, Foundation trustee, RI Board Executive Committee member, International Assembly group discussion leader, task force chair, and district governor. He also chaired The Rotary Foundation in India.

Banerjee has received The Rotary Foundation's Citation for Meritorious Service and its Distinguished Service Award. He and his wife, Binota, are Major Donors and Bequest Society members of The Rotary Foundation.
